How long will my box take to meet its destination?

We make use of reliable couriers. Your box should be delivered at the given address between 2-4 working days after the payment is made, this applies to all central cities.

Please note that delivery can take up to 7 working days for locations outside of major centers. Please note that no deliveries will be made or packages sent on public holidays or weekends, if you would like to request such a delivery please visit our contact page and note that additional charges will apply.  

Can I collect my gift box myself?

Yes, just choose the "collect" option when ordering and check your email inbox for any notifications on when your package is ready! Please collect it within 48 hours from receiving the email notification. 

 

Can I go back and edit my box once I have added my box to my cart?

Unfortunately you cannot edit a box that is already added to your cart. You will have to go back and redo the box.

 

Is my payment secure?

We make use of Payfast. This allows you to easily make transactions through various options in a secure manner. Please visit https://www.payfast.co.za/ for any further questions.

Can an item be returned if I am not happy with it?

We only make use of the highest quality of products from our range of small businesses. You can, however return a product if it is still in it's packaging. Please see the refunds and exchanges tab for further information or contact daneal@makemydaygiftboxes.com for further queries regarding this.

How do I create multiple boxes in the "Make My Box" section?

You can do this by starting to add your products in your box by selecting "add to box" under each product. Once you have added everything you want to your box, click on "add my box to the cart" this will redirect you to the cart. You will then see a summary of your first box. To make another one, press back on your device (at the top left) and add items to your new box again, follow the same steps to add the box to your cart, when redirected to your cart, you will see the summary of both your boxes, continue this process for all the boxes you would like to create. 

If you want to make more than one box with the same content you can simply make the created box more in your cart and select "update cart" 

You can also add a curated box at any time by going to the curated box page and adding them to your cart. All of these will be placed in one cart for easy check out and payment. 

Can I send multiple boxes to multiple addresses?

Unfortunately we have not enabled this as yet and multiple boxes can only be sent to one address. You can however make numerous carts and pay separately to achieve this.
